Our Mission
A veteran-led non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing a solid foundation to Veterans through community connection, purpose & support.
SITREP: Current Status
We are currently focused on raising the necessary funding to bring our vision to life through the development of a comprehensive, fully functional website. This platform will serve as the central hub for our mission—featuring an interactive online community, an extensive veteran resource database, job boards connecting veterans to employment opportunities, and a variety of additional tools designed to support reintegration and empowerment. Every contribution brings us one step closer to launching a platform that will directly impact the lives of veterans and their families across the nation.
Connection
Fostering connection, camaraderie & peer support amongst veterans.
Purpose
Providing Veterans with employment opportunities through our trusted partnerships and employment allies.
Support
Providing our Veterans with trusted, easy-to-use, easy-to-navigate resources.
What is Mission Success to us?
Our goal is to proactively confront the challenges Veterans often face when returning home by delivering the Pillars of Reintegration — a foundation built on connection, purpose, and support. By achieving this mission, we can help prevent the spiral into social isolation, mental health struggles, employment and financial instability, homelessness, and, most importantly, reduce the tragic toll of Veteran suicide.
“As a Veteran who served in two combat tours to Iraq, I could have never envisioned coming home only to struggle for nearly a decade before luckily gaining a sliver of stability. Navigating reintegration, finding purpose, and accessing the right resources felt like a battle I was fighting alone. Those years taught me that no Veteran should have to endure that kind of isolation or darkness after serving their country. That is why I founded House of Vets.”
